Artfully Crafted Oreck Select Lux Candles

I heard these candles were going to be pretty, but until I finally had one in my hand did I truly appreciate how gorgeous they are. Our artists at the factory really pulled it all together with these candles. The gorgeous imported crystal vessels with classic French round tip lids perfectly compliment the fabulously crafted fragrances.  One look and you know they’re going to smell wonderful!

From the fragrance description I had a feeling I’d like Jamaica Blush with notes of rose, tropical blooms, hints of coconut water and musk. And I was wrong, I don’t like it, I LOVE it! The formal description ends with “to evoke the sensory experience of a seaside getaway” and this nails it. It truly does evoke the feeling of being at a beach retreat. That’s definitely another plus to burning candles, the memories and experiences the fragrances recall in the mind like how a song brings up a time and a place are especially comforting right now. Since for me travel is out of the question for a bit longer, these candles are helping to take me there!

And once my candle has burned down, I won’t have to miss this fragrance since we’re pouring all five of them in meltables! I am looking forward to repurposing it, though I can’t decide where yet. It’s the perfect size for Qtips, though way too pretty for my bathroom, maybe in the home office for paperclips or in the kitchen for rubber bands...
